Activity: Session Assessment

This activity can be carried out for assessment on a personal level both for the participant and the facilitator.

Objective:

  • To help the participants and facilitators to reflect upon what has been accomplished in the session
  • To identify scope for improvement and change in future sessions

Materials: Pen, pencils, paper, flip chart

Duration: 10 minutes

Procedure:

  • This activity should be carried out at the end of each session
  • Each participant (one by one) tells what he/she liked and that which needs improvement
  • Responses of all the participants should be collected and written in two different columns (‘likes’ and ‘can be even better’) on a flipchart. Any participant can assume the lead and can play the role of the facilitator by writing down the responses on the flipchart
  • This flipchart should be put up for exhibition
  • The exhibition should be followed by a group discussion
