Activists: 12
Facilitators:

1st Session: The kids were asked to fill out questionnaires (yan-community-issues-form and the yan-member- interest-form)on issues affecting their lives in the community. The kids' parents were also invited to this first session which was celebrated with pizza and drinks and introduction of YAN objectives and past projects.

Two issues were selected by voting for the most relevant issues from the list of issues mentioned by the activists. The selected issues were Drunk Driving and Garbage Disposal.

2nd Session:As part of analysis, the activists went out into the community to conduct interviews with the residents on the relevance of the two issues in their community. The facilitators also invited a cop(as a friend of YAN) to talk about Drunk Driving to the activists. At the end of this analysis, Garbage Disposal proved to be the more relevant issue in the community. So it was decided that the project would be based on Garbage Disposal.

3rd Session:The third session involved brainstorming with the activists on how to go about building awareness about proper Garbage Disposal in the community. One of the activists suggested the idea of 'Trash Olympics' that would involve several games based on littering and recycling.

4th Session:The actual games and events for the 'Trash Olympics' were carried out in this session. All the activists participated in these games that were co-ordinated by the facilitators. Some of the events that were organized were:

- The activists organized themselves in teams and competed for maximum garbage collection in different areas.
- A relay race was conducted in which the activists got inside trash bags, hopped and collected trash bottles.
-T-shirts, flyers and banners about the 'Trash Olympics' were created.
- A small movie was created by the activists at the end describing the whole process.

5th Session: The final session was dedicated to celebration and exhibition with the activists, facilitators, other members and kids of the Charlestown and other Clubhouses. The celebration included a pizza and lemonade treat with display of 'Trash Olympics' posters and the movie about 'Trash Olympics'.

The project was fun and the group ended up collecting about 4 bags of litter from the streets, most of them from around convenience stores and teen places.
