SPATIAL DISPLAY & INTERACTION

Spatial interaction, design studies and rendering for spatial displays: This work investigates the spatial display of information and spatial interaction schemes using 3D visual-haptic workspace elements for 3D positioning, path-tracing, surface shaping and sketching systems. I've implemented and supervised the development of both conventional and unconventional CG camera geometries and algorithms for optical aberration compensation for stereographic, holographic and lenticular spatial display systems. In designing and rendering studies of data for spatial display, I take a human-centered approach which considers display/viewing parameters and human factors, professional/cultural concerns, and the logical, emotional and aesthetic sensibilities of the intended audience or user community.
