Altera

NOTE:At the current moment the Altera package does still have a couple of minor features which need to be fixed/taken care of(namely setting up the fonts right and testing the synopsys/altera interface). If you are using Altera and experience *anything* unusual or unnerving, please email me(cmceniry).

This page is still under construction. Expect it to be fully armed and operational by 22 Sept 97.

NOTE: Due to reasons beyond our control, anyone wishing to use the Altera unix software has to use it on dq.media.mit.edu(or an Xsession from dq).

To setup your environment to use Altera, add "altera" to your GARDEN_PREPEND in your .csh_env file. Then copy the /cadence/maxplus2/maxplus2.ini file into your $HOME directory.
