After choosing some of these designs, I used a laser cutter to assemble a full scale prototype out of cardboard.
This allowed me to feel the balance and size of the guitar and to verify that the body would accept all of the components properly.
After living with this prototype for a few days, I decided the design wasn't working. I felt that the combination of strongly
unconventional materials and strongly unconventional shape were going to prevent the guitar from being comfortable to play.
