My vision is my vision.
I lost an eye in my teens and so I was naturally become interested in human eyes.
This interest is still ongoing.

What you see is your brain's illusion. For Machines,...
These two pink squares are exactly the same color, but you see them differently (look at the blue dot). This is an illusion. In this project, we propose a quantitative characterization of this phenomenon.

What you see is just a part of a figure, but you can imagine the whole figure. For Machines,...
In this project, a whole figure is expressed by local information.

What you see is efficiency reduced by the brain. For Machines,...
How do you memorize this figure? by color? by shape? In this project, a image is effectively compressed.
  • Image Coding.

What you see is the same one even if it's bended and stretched . For Machines,...
You know these two are the same object. In this project, a object is expressed as phase invariants. And this property is applied to a copyright protection.

What you see is what you fish around for in your head. For Machines,...
You touch a pair of scissors through a trial and error process in very short time. In this project, this property is applied to reduce noise in satellite communication.
