On a recent search for lighting fixtures to adorn my humble grad school apartment, the inexpensive options found at Ikea seemed extra cliché and unattractive. A trip to urban outfitters offered a couple faintly better options that follow the growing trend to stick ornate Victorian era style elements into minimal modern spaces.
