I am a Ph.D student at MIT Media Lab, and my works are about humans, interactions, social networks, big data and mobile systems. I am in the Human Dynamics Group led by my advisor Sandy Pentland.
I try to understand why and how people interact with other people, from economic, social and behavioral perspectives. My works are often targeted at what can we learn from social interactions and behaviors, but my goal is to really change the way we measure social intelligence and more importantly, to help people better act socially. I call this research "artificial social intelligence". I also do interesting
things such as the DARPA Red Balloon Challenge.
