One key to this project is matching electrical and mechanical impedances. It is not obvious which transformer values are needed, so a flexible transformer has home-wound. This is a pentuple-tapped transformer which can give impedance ratios from 1:5 to 5:1, a dynamic range of 25. It can be placed between a generator and regulator electronics, or between a synthesizer or amplifier and a speaker. It's a new part of this project and hasn't been permanently mounted in a useable form yet.
