In summer 2007, the Leaf Crew threw a party in Allston to raise money to go to the Firefly festival in Vermont. This crew is into education/skill sharing among its members and friends. As part of the festivities, they invited me to do a workshop on building the 1-bit Groovebox!

Here are a few short video clips from the party, and also some still pictures. Everybody had a terrific time, although the DJs started playing music in the kitchen while we were doing our building. It was actually very nice to work in that situation, at least until people started dancing really quickly and then we had to go! High five to Annina for helping program chips for the workshop.
