Profit Based Optimization
for Vehicles To Grid Scheduling

The object of this project is to find and compare optimization methods for profit based Vehicle to Grid scheduling. Constraints are " plugged-in time " interval, battery capacity, charging power, user preferences (low cost vs. charging speed) and battery live cycles. Three different optimization methods are tested: primitive rule based method, linear optimization method and stochastic optimization method. Micro grid simulation was performed for the optimized charging schedule using active front end with power factor control to provide active power and dc-link voltage control to simulate the battery.
