exploratory learning environment for people to create highly dynamic
software with rich functionality (microworlds) by visually manipulating
pre-fabricated, interoperable software components. Both the software
components and the microworld can be enhanced by programming in
a Logo-based scripting language. E-Slate is based on the Java platform
and related technologies.
