In 2005 and 2006 I spent quite a lot of time with my son Nicholas Xanthopoulos. Nicholas was born on Sunday May 1st 2005. Watching Nicholas daily, I am constantly amazed by his immense capacity to learn all those things that as grown ups we take so much for granted. Things like eating regular food, standing, walking, jumping, and talking. And yet, how hard all these things are. And how persistent all babies are in order to master them.

Not to mention how fast this process is. If one considers the first 4-6 months of life as very crucial for a baby's survival, then the transformation from an infant to a toddler happens in just a few months. So, in just a few months, Nicholas has become a fun, loving, cute, interactive, talkative (in a gibberish sort of way) little man that I enjoy hanging out with! And he is such a good company! Plus he is nice and always takes me with him when he goes out to play and to his friends' birthday parties!
