Visualizing Threads


 An abstracted view of the conversation is shown to the right. The thickness of the threads represents the volume of messages. In this particular case, the colors represent the tone of the messages. The image to the right represents a months worth of postings.  
The grid to the right represents a calendar month. In these particular examples, the period of the weaving is 7 days. A calendar such as this may be superimposed onto the fabric for contextual referrence.  
 One may view the postings within each thread from selecting a thread from the above right representation. They may also choose to see how a specific thread traverses the fabric through time as shown here.
