Study Hypotheses:
- Hypothesis 1: Users will inquire about their partner's feelings and emotions more with a display of skin coductivity
- Hypothesis 2: Users will share more emotions when skin conductivity is made visible
- Hypothesis 3: Users' skin conductivity levels will rise and fall together, as they chat
Open Questions:
- Do users take longer to make a decision? Do they exchange more statements?
- Will they make more a of a choice shift?
- Will the higher or lower skin conductivity "win"?
- Will they take longer to make a decision with more emotions 'involved'?
- Does skin conductivity (arousal) go up just by seeing your own arousal level?
Behavioral Study
- Each pair of users chat to make a decision in regular chat and a 2nd decision in conductive chat
- Skin conductivity and conversations fully logged
- 12 pairs of users, and counting!.....
