Picture Tel enables effective communication among large groups
in conference rooms, boardrooms, and auditoriums around the
world.
At MIT, we have used the system for lectures between universities
and for video conference among distant partners. If the quality
of the audio and sounds is very good, the cost for communications
is very high comparing to the "0" cost for Netmeeting
(communication is going through the Internet). This is especially
why it is used for lectures, important presentations and/or
final reviews.

allows a very good interaction among groups. Peripherals like
ImageShare allow a user to plug their laptop directly into
the video system and with the press of a button, display the
