What we're looking at here is a little device, a black box that's for us to test a little experiment that with it with some of these pieces in order to control light. So, this is a small physical mock-up, and the way it works is - it has removable parts, to be adapted to other pieces and I will show you in a minute how it works. And we have some openings... that can be used to control the light. But the main objective of this little device - this little blackbox - is to take one of these prints from this table such as this one and actually locating in one of the sides of the box... and... we just remove this piece of cloth, and we should be able to see how this little piece, from this side, how the light is penetrating this space from this side. We again, close this little cloth. The cloth has a little whole in here
in which we use to insert a camera, and that camera allows you to capture
what the simulation of real conditions of light penetration from this
objects will reflect. It can also be seen from the top. So I can remove
this one as well, and I am going to put another model. And, this one can
be inserted here to simulate some light conditions. And, again, if we
look in the inside of the box we would see how light penetrates in the
space. |
