Songs from the Divine Comedy is an interpretation of Dante's work in the form of multimedia performance by the composer Giovanni Sollima. Each movement of the piece has a related visual sequence of paintings, photos and body scans.

Images as if they were sounds - We designed and implemented an interface for Giovanni to play images as notes, to allow him to write the visual sequences using the language that is most natural for him: the standard score notation. A midi keyboard connected to a Mac is used to control the projection of images.
