A distributed, gestural interface that combines elements of tangible user interfaces and sensor networks. Siftables are independent, compact devices with sensing, graphical display, and wireless communication capabilities. They can be physically manipulated as a group to interact with digital information and media.

A new instrument for real-time capture and sensitive physical stimulation of sound samples using digital convolution. The ability to flexibly capture and sculpt audio is characteristic of digital tools; our system enables physical and continuous sound manipulation typical of acoustic instruments and found objects.

A platform to enable musical invention and performance, built around open-source software and inexpensive hardware. Audiopint can be thought of as a "programmable guitar pedal", and brings together the important elements of laptop computers and dedicated audio processors.

Adaptive Music Controller (a.k.a. FlexiGesture)
A new musical instrument that turns the typical player/instrument paradigm on its head. Instead of the player learning the instrument, the instrument learns the player.

Face Control for Electric Guitar
A system that allows the use of the performer's face position to control musical effects, such as reverb, distortion and wah. The system can also detect head nod and shake, to switch between different amplifier models.

An experiment to find out if real-time vibro-tactile feedback during a singing task would help singers stay on-pitch. For some, it did!

A device that accepts textual input from a PS/2 keyboard, and transduces the information to a pattern of actuations that play out on a friend's fingertips.
