I have been interested in computers since I was very young. I had a Texas Instruments 99/4A when I was about seven and an Apple //c when I was about nine years old. I've been hooked ever since... except for that brief hiatus in high school when I thought I wanted to attend law school and go into politics. :)
Not surprisingly, I studied Computer Science in college and am now a graduate student in Computer Engineering.
My main interest is in Mobile Computing. This has become an fast-growing field, lately, with research on this being done all over the world. Here at CMU, I work with Wearable Computer Systems. As an undergraduate at MIT, I worked with the Rover Mobile Application Toolkit. In addition, many people at the MIT Media Lab work on wearable computers.
There is a list of Mobile and Wireless Computing Projects around the world that I make frequent use of.
