MIT Rowing Club

I row and cox for the MIT rowing club (formerly Sloan Crew). I started when I came to MIT in 2004 and have really enjoyed the mornings on the Charles River. We're also lucky enough to get at least one entry in the Head of the Charles every year as well as several regattas during the fall and spring seasons. More images (unsorted) at the imagebank.

MITRC Women's 8 in the final sprint at the New Hampshire Championships. This is the famous race where Bill (cox) asks Ulrike (stroke) how the rate feels. When she pants out an answer, he yells at her that she should be too tired to answer. He tells the boat we should be too tired to walk by the end of the race. Bill (cox), Ulrike (stroke), Adele?, Alison, Cara, Monica, Vasilika, Jane, Amy (bow)
