Wearable Art

Halloween is the best time to show creativity. In 1998, I was a Volkswagen Convertible Bug, my favorite car. Starting with a light frame made out of carboard tubes and tape, a VW body was bent and shaped over and then spray-painted. Wheels and lights, and cloth 'convertible top' were added. Ribbons were attached so the car could be worn on the shoulders. The vanity license plate named this car

"TROUBLE"
 
  I couldn't tell if it was me, or my three-headed friend that generated a lot of honks on Memorial Drive. :)

The ultimate in artistic expression is wearing your art, or coercing your friends to. Here, my friend Jim models one of the many t-shirts I designed for him.

These are my dorm suitemates holding an Alice in Wonderland themed study break in the Fall of 1997. The setting was the Mad Hatter's Tea Party. We each designed the costumes.
