***Possible Experiments

  1. A task of yes or no- having subjects try guiding a block through a maze with sample communication codes (e.g. 2 for left, one for right)
  1. Navigator task-pilot and bomber  - Pilot has no radar info, but has directions. The  Bomber can see, but controls the object to be dropped. Information exchange.
  2. Getting a stick through a hoop
  3. Hangman
  4. Experiment 1, pictures :  Talk to roz about word choices-- is this an okay set? Stimulus set okay? possibly to big?
  5. Call my bluff- Relate touch to truthfulness, which definition is correct of three definition?
  6. Goal with multiple path-->hand of joystick.  different paths to goal, shared task. the users are sharing a puck or control of a car
  7. Tactile puzzle-  Imagine blocks or materials, sponge, wood rubber. Convey which one I'm touching w/o words. This is easy because device conveys hardness or softness.
  8. Ordering foam   One buyer, one merchant. The buyer wants to buy 10 different foams,. The merchant is ordering foam for client. They can map hardness to pressure of touch. The context mapping of exploratory procedure (EP) with modaility of vibrotactile device is apparent.
  9. Touch monitoring during a movie (environment requires silence)-- 2 people in the cinema (feelies)
  10. Following someone in the car (one person first) put vibrotactile on left and right and lets followers know where the leader is g oing. When the leader touches the steering wheel for turning left or right, tactile memory for others
