3/7/01 COMTOUCH meeting notes
At this meeting, we reviewed the device from the last meeting. The
general concern was how much resolution could we sense, and whether having
many motors together would generate a problem.
Crosstalk needs to be reduced
Problem with vibration being buried in the foam. The whole foam vibrates.
need the vibration to be closer to the skin.
-->Try the speaker headphones that Eric Gunther is using.
Need:

Higher Frequency

Mechanically isolating the vibration (damping with latex surrounded by
hard case?)
Possible Solution:

5 little wells filled with vibrators

soft things embedded in hard substrate

avoid putting vibration on phone
