Alena Grabowski, PhD

I earned my PhD from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Department of Integrative Physiology Locomotion Laboratory in 2007 and am currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Biomechatronics Group at MIT.

Through my research, I seek to better understand the interaction of physiology & biomechanics during human locomotion; specifically how the implementation of mechanical devices, such as prostheses & exoskeletons, influence human locomotion. http://www.colorado.edu/intphys/research/locomotion.htmlhttp://biomech.media.mit.edu/index.htmlhttp://mit.edu/shapeimage_3_link_0shapeimage_3_link_1shapeimage_3_link_2
