brainstorm: coincident io with sound as a display
2 votes: buckets of boxes that can record sound. record into the bucket, and spread them out on a mat that represents a timeline with pitch (like written music?) You can dip a box to create an effect, and can pysically edit the music while it's playing
something like the Leap Pad where you can write/speak your own story and the machine will select appropriate sound effects, based on keyword matches, to complement your story.

3 votes: dolls + a mat or diorama where the location of the doll selects a sound transformation to your voice as you tell a story of/about the doll's character. i.e. your voice gets echoey and scary in the cave, bright and resonant in a church
