Low-Cost controller for POD effects processor: I built an alternative to the $200 "floorboard" switcher for the POD 2.0 guitar effects processor. My switcher uses a microcontroller-based circuit to send MIDI commands to the POD. It is still a prototype, but has been "road-tested" in several gigs and worked like a charm!
The left and middle buttons cycle up and down through the POD's presets, and the right button cycles through the distortion settings for whatever preset you're on (off, on, on + extra)
See my code to share page for some C header files that help with MIDI and pod related programming.
I'm working on a version 2.0, made with a printed circuit board. See the picture at bottom-left for a tantalizing glimpse..
