At the Interface...

About this page...

This page is a compendium of thoughts on issues relating to human/computer interaction (HCI).

The page contains a continuing article on multimodal natural dialog--the conjoint use of speech, gesture, and gaze in communicating with computation. I believe that style of interaction to be the "ultimate interface," and have titled the article accordingly.

Additionally, there is commentary on HCI broadly, such as opinion pieces on issues relating to people and computers, people and cognition, people and computation.

I'd like to hear any comments from readers on any or all of the issues raised. Send them to: boltra@earthlink.net
